Scholarships in Graphic Communications

Scholarships are available for students pursuing higher education in a Graphic Communications related field of study.

Electronic Document Systems Foundation (EDSF) Document Communication Scholarships

Illinois Graphic Communications Scholarship Consortium
The Illinois Graphic Communications Scholarship Consortium (IGCSC) aims to help support high potential college students seeking a career in the graphic communications industry. The following scholarships are funded by the consortium:
  • Ben Franklin Scholarship
  • GLGA Education Foundation Scholarship (Illinois)
  • Graphic Communications Guild Scholarship
  • The Lithographers Club of Chicago Scholarship
Information and Policies:
  • To be considered, the applicant must be a resident of Illinois.
  • To be considered, the applicant must be enrolled or enrolling as a declared major in a college-level technology, production, and/or management-oriented graphics program (such as graphic arts technology, graphic communications, or graphics technology).
  • The scholarship can be used for any college program in the country that meets the program requirements.
  • Scholarship awards typically range from $500.00 to $3000.00.
  • Any scholarship funds received will be sent directly to the financial aid office of the attending college for use in tuition, fees, and/or college-based lodging.
  • Students awarded a scholarship will need to submit a new application to be reconsidered in subsequent school years.
  • To be considered, all application materials must be received by March 1st.

Madison Area Printing Scholarship

The Madison Area Printing Scholarship is open to graduating high school students living in the Madison, WI area planning to pursue a career in Graphic Communications at a two-year or four-year college. The Nolan Moore Memorial Education Foundation Scholarship offers up to $2,500 per year (based on need) to a student who is a legal resident of Texas, entering or enrolled in a post-secondary print technology/management or digital imaging related program, and pursuing a field of study related to the Graphic Communications industry.
