Graphic Arts Education and Research Foundation Announces Winners of 2011 Student Design Competition

Each year, GAERF selects a new theme for the design competition. The theme for 2011 challenged students to create two marketing pieces (chosen from Website Banner, Postcard, or Display Ad) that were designed to drive traffic to graphicCOMMcentral.org.

The Winners:

From among 225 entries, six winners were chosen, three at the secondary level and three at the post-secondary level.

The Prizes:

1st Place Awards: $2,000 plus a two-day (Sept. 13-14) all-expenses paid trip for the student and instructor to attend GRAPH EXPO 2011, in Chicago, IL
